The most notable current global project of Rotary International, PolioPlus, is contributing to the global eradication of polio. The project started in 1979 by providing vaccines to hundreds of thousands of Filipino children. Since then, Rotary International, with the support of diverse members and organizations such as The Bill & Belinda Gates foundation, raised more than US$1 billion to eradicate the disease.

Today, the World is 99.9% Polio free… but the fight must go on until we reach 100%. Our club members are just links part of this massive chain that contributes to raising awareness about our RI program and raising funds to reach our common goal of 100% eradication of Polio.
