Julian has been working in the not-for-profit sector in Europe and Asia for the past 20 years, and currently works as Director of Development for Canadian International School of Hong Kong. In addition to being Foundation Chair at RC Shouson Hill, he serves on the board of two Hong Kong charities, The Leprosy Project and International Care Ministries. Originally from the UK, he has lived in Hong Kong since 2008 and in 2014 celebrates 25 years of marriage to Pauline; they have one daughter, Lizzy.
His reasons for joining Rotary?
‘I have always had an interest in encouraging more people to find ways to serve the community in a sustainable way. Rotary does that really well by connecting people from different spheres. It is fun but with a purpose.’
