The Little Sister of the Poor is a worldwide charity organization that provides humble service of the poor through its local chapters. The Hong Kong house was established in 1923 with two locations (St. Mary in Aberdeen and St. Joseph in Sheung Shui). Given that the Sisters have for a rule to collect donation only on their own or through volunteers… No foundation funds, regular incomes and subsidize can be accepted as donation; our club provides support in kind. We use our members expertize and time to help them. We provide professional engineering, architect and lawyer services. We help support building management/maintenance and offer other types of consultancy pro-bono.
